The Section of Bulk Marketing deals with the subject of marketing the Bi-products of Oilpalm.

The APOILFED is having  Oil Palm Processing unit at  Pedavegi, West Godavari District.  with a processing capacity of FFB with 24MTs/hr.

During the processing of FFB after extraction of crude palm oil the following are the bi-products.

Crude Palm Oil

During the process of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), the CPO recovery is 16 to 18%. Daily the Manager (Bulk Marketing) will contact the Officer-in-charges of Pedavegi to collect the availability of Crude Palm Oil for sale. Day to-day, we will contact the brokers to collect the data of prevailing market price. The sale committee consisting of Manager (Mktg), Manager (Bulk Marketing) and Manager (Hrd) the committee shall also have verify the market/sale rate of cpo in the National/International/within the State. After confirming the competitive price, the committee will offer our sale price to the brokers, in turn, the broker will contact the buyers for the competitive price and confirm, the same will be placed for VC & MD's approval. The FFB price will be fixed on  weighted average price for sales of Crude Palm Oil.

PALM KERNEL

The Palm Kernel Oil is used as Industrial Lubricants and in Cosmetics. The shell of Palmnuts used as fuel in Power Generating Plants. The recovery of PalmKernel  is 4.85% from the FFB processing. The Palmkernel sale will be through e- auction.

Bulk Marketing Section looks after the disposal of the following Main Products & Bi-products  generated in the Oil Palm Processing Unit, Pedavegi, West Godavari District.

The Main Products generated in the Plant are :

    A).Crude Palm Oil (CPO)

    B).Palm kernel       (PK)

The following are the Bi-products  that are generated:

      C).Palm Shredded Fibre

      D).Palm Nut Shell

      E).Decanter Muck
